The New Balance Women's FuelCell 996v6 D Width Tennis Shoes continue the solid tradition of the brand's signature model. A lightweight engineered mesh was used in the upper for breathability and flexibility with just the right amount of protection. The shoe utilizes New Balance's most propulsive performance foam: FuelCell. The 996v6 improves the lock-down through the heel and forefoot for streamlined performance. And the Ndurance outsole adds durability to complement the comfort provided by FuelCell.

Upper: Reengineered mesh for a lightweight, breathable, and supportive experience tailored specifically for tennis players. A traditional tongue features 'wings' to keep you locked in place (essentially a half sleeve). A PU Medial Guard protects the toe.

Insole: An Ortholite Insert ensures underfoot comfort and security.

Midsole: FuelCell technology runs through the full length of the shoe, and offers the brand's highest energy return and propulsion to date. A top-loaded shank ensures torsional stability.

Outsole: The non-marking, NDurance rubber compound enhances durability in high-wear areas of the shoe. The FuelCell 996v6 features an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
